Kay "Vonnie" Doyle, aged 68 years of Watts Township, Perry County, passed away at the Holy Spirit Hospital. She was the daughter of the late John and Valentina (DeBiase) Sterner. She guaduated from Susquenita High School, Duncannon, Pa., Temple University and received a master's degree from Shippensburg University. She was a school teacher at the Newport School District and retired from the West Perry School District of western Perry County.
She was a member of the St. Bernadette Catholic Church, Duncannon and the Ladies Auxiliary of the Duncannon VFW.
Surviving are her husband, James P. Doyle; a daughter, Stacey A. Carson of Carlisle, 5 grandchiildren; Steven Weigle, Brandon Weigle, Remington Weigle, Morgan Weigle, and Alexid Weigle.
A memorial mass was held at her church, with burial being private.
