Roy, Utah - Hollis Leroy Abbott, 63, Roy, died Friday, May 20, 1977, at his home. Born July 30, 1913, Magna, Utah, son of Charles LeRoy and Elizabeth Irving Abbott. Married Charline Hall, May 29, 1942, at Elko, Nev. Retired in 1973 after 30 years with the U.S. Postal Service. Served with the U.S. Army, WWII, Member Fraternal Order of Eagles, No. 2472, Member, Roy LDS 3rd Ward.
Survivors: widow, Roy; son and daughter, Walter Allen Abbott, Colorado Springs, Colo.; Mrs. James (Susan) Hillan, Roy, Utah; six grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Irving Abbott, Fairbanks, Alaska; LeGrande Abbott, West Jordan, Utah; Marie Stuart, Sandy, Utah; Leila Cundick, Salt Lake City.
Funeral services will be held Monday 11 a.m., Myers Mortuary Chapel, Roy, where friends may call Sunday, from 6 to 8 p.m., and Monday, prior to services. Interment, West Jordan Cemetery.
