Mrs. Nora E. Skaggs, 83, 1925 Meeker Avenue, died Monday in Ball Hospital [Muncie]. A native of Columbia, Kentucky, she moved to Muncie about 1½ years ago from Russell Springs, Kentucky, where she was a member of Bethlehem Separate Baptist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Zirkelbach, Muncie, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Rissie M. Evans, Attica; three sisters, Mrs. Nancy Alley and Mrs. Rhina E. Burton, Russell Springs, and Mrs. Valera C. Hale, Tulsa, Oklahoma; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends may call at Parson Mortuary from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and before services there at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday. Dr. Franz Oerth, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Beech Grove Cemetery.
