Helen grew up in Monongahela, PA., but lived most of her married life in the Cleveland, Ohio area. She was one of ten children born to Charles, Sr. and Mary Lengyel Matus. She is survived by her husband James Balog, and daughter Mary Ann Balog Morin and granddaughter Robyn Marie Morin. She was a member of St. Nicholas Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Lakewood, OH.
Also surviving is her sister: Ann Matus Riley, brother's Mike and Joseph (Joe) Matus.
Helen was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Matus Kopp and brothers: Charles Jr., John, Pete, Andy, and Metro Matus.
Burial was in Sunset Memorial Cemetery, N. Olmstead, Ohio.

Helen's husband James Balog passed away on 21 May, 2005 - FAG# 19495759.
Helen's brothers, Mike and Joseph (Joe) Matus, have both passed away. Ann Matus Riley is the only living child of the ten children.
