NOTE: Some people list Bond as Cora's birth name. When Cora was 4, she and her mother were living with her grandmother. All 3 were sleeping in the same bed one night when lightning struck and killed the grandmother. Cora and her mom ran to a neighbor's house. The mother later died of injuries from the lightning strike. Relatives came for Cora, but she didn't want to go with them and cried. So they left her and she was raised by a family named Bond. Wilson is the correct birth name.
