Mrs. Louisa Malone died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Andrew Coe at Oxford, Nebr., Thursday, August 15, 1929 at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 13 days.
Louisa Staeich (sic) was born in Germany, March 2, 1846. In 1866 she was married to John Malone and in 1872 they came to America settling at LaSalle, Ills. Ten years later they moved to Gladstone, Nebr., and later to Orleans, Nebr. Mr. Malone died Dec. 24, 1917.
She is survived by eight children August Malone of Holdredge, Louis Molone (sic) of Fairbury, Mrs. Gusta Schliem of Gladstone, Nebr. Charles Malone of Oxford, Otto, Theodore and Herman Malone all of Orleans and Mrs. Lizzie Coe of Oxford. Three sons, John, Ferd and William preceded their mother in death. There are also 31 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren besides one sister, Mrs. John Schoen of Gladstone.
Short services were held at Oxford, Nebr., and the remains were brought to Gladstone, where services conducted by Rev. Wm. Park of the Baptist church of Fairbury, were held. Burial was in the Evangelical church cemetery at Gladstone.
