Services were scheduled to be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, in the chapel of Wells Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ricky Mason officiating. Burial was to be in Buchanan Cemetery.
A naive of Graham County, she was born June 20, 1915 to the late John W. Moody and Nancy J. Moody. She was a Sunday school teacher and member of the Women's Missionary Union for several years. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, cooking and canning.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmas Caldwell; and one brother, Roy Moody.
Surviving are one stepson, Wayne Caldwell of Sylva; one stepdaughter, Joyce Craig of Waynesville; one brother, Coleman Moody; five step-grandchildren and eight step-great-grandchildren.
