Maybelle K. Barney, 100, a resident of Wendell, died Tuesday, May 1, 2007, at Magic Valley Manor Assisted Living in Wendell.
Maybelle was born on March 5, 1907, in Alameda, Calif., the daughter of Solon Steven and Sadie Baxter Winchell.
She married Daniel C. Danuser on Feb. 15, 1924. He preceded her in death in 1941.
She later married Alfred Barney on Oct. 10, 1945. He preceded her in death in 1965.
During her life, she worked as an apartment manger in Elk Grove, Calif., where she lived most of her life.
She moved to Gooding two years ago to be close to her son. She most recently lived at the Magic Valley Manor in Wendell.
She is survived by her son, Dan (Katie) Danuser of Gooding; two stepsons, Bob (Nancy) Barney of Georgetown, Calif., and Pat Barney of Sacramento, Calif.; and numerous grand and great-grandchildren.
