Sarah was the daughter of George Yerion and Sallie B. Miller.
She married on June 27, 1847, Wythe County, Virginia, to John Carr Hollandsworth.

Info from Jeri Boswell:
To clear up some confusion you may still have Sarah actually married John Carr Hollandsworth in Wythe County Virginia.
Early on the court records in Wythe Co. listed her as married to James Anderson Hollandsworth , a brother to George Oliver Hollandsworth, my gg grandfather. However, after more research it was decided that record was in error.
John and Sarah had a daughter while still living in VA and her name was Mary Jane. Sometime after her birth in 1848 and before 1852 when Sarah died in IL John and Sarah moved from VA to IL. One son William H. Hollandsworth was born Feb 1850 and died 1854 and is buried beside Sarah. A daughter Sarah E. died in 1860 but I could not read her age at time of death so I am not sure her dob.
Their first born daughter Mary Jane married and had at least 5 children and settled in Nebraska according to the census records. She married James W. Garnsey of Canada circa 1874. I was able to locate Mary Jane after viewing her father's will this past Oct. when we went to Storm Lake, IA where John C. Hollandsworth later moved after his second marriage to Sarah Bird. Mary's married name Garnsey was listed in her father's will.

Chidren of John and his 1st wife:
Mary Jane Hollandsworth Gransey (1848-unk)
William H. Hollandsworth (ca.1850-unk)
Sarah E. Holldandsworth (unk-1860)
