This is my Great Aunt Sue. Married to my Great Uncle "Gene", Eugene R. Parker. They met on Okinawa during one of my great uncle's tours in the military and were happily married for years, until his passing.

Sue Parker, 72, of Fort Smith died Thursday, Jan. 13, 2005, in a Fort Smith hospital. She was a member of the First Church of Nazarene and volunteered with the Seventh-day Adventist School. She was the widow of Eugene Parker. Graveside service will be noon Tuesday at the U.S. National Cemetery in Fort Smith under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Fort Smith. She is survived by two sons, Ray Parker of Wichita, Kan., and Joe Parker of Fort Smith; two brothers, Housei and Houei Nako, both of Japan; and four grandchildren.
