WILLIAM ASKEW ADKINS, 77, of Concord, N.C and a former longtime resident of Plant City, died Tuesday; He was a native of Georgia, a veteran of the Army and of the Baptist faith. He is survived by two daughters, Vera McArthur of Concord, N.C. and Lavern Sutton of Dandridge, Tenn.; three sons, W. A. of Dandrige, Tenn., Wayne of Thonotosassa and Dale of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Mary Gaither of Thonotosassa; one brother, James of Thonotosassa and 13 grandchidren.
