Mrs. Sue Elaine Bishop, 30, Rt. 5, Marion, died Wednesday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis where she was taken with injuries suffered in Sunday's tornado. Her death raised to seven the number killed in Grant County in the tornado.
Mrs. Bishop, formerly Sue Bullock, lived with her family on Monroe Pike. She had been employed at Indiana Bell Telephone Co. for several years. She was a native of Marion, and attended Marion schools. She had resided in Grant County all her life.
Surviving are the husband, Darrell; four sons, Jackie, Teddie, Jimmie and Tony; one brother, Dillard Lee Bullock, Marion; two sisters, Mrs. Dixie Williams and Miss Kayla Vice, both of Marion; the step-father, Orville L. Vice, Marion; the maternal grandfather, Harry Whisler, Marion, and the step- grandmother, Mrs. Leona Trowbridge, Marion. The husband and three of the sons remain hospitalized.
Funeral services for Sue Elaine Bishopwere held on Saturday at 814 S. Adams St., with the Rev. Edward Darnell, and the Rev. Naymond H. Shields, officiating. Burial was made in IOOF Cemetery.
