. Daniel Brown 1634-1710 son of Elizabeth Sharparowe and Chad Browne co-founder of the 1st Baptist Church and founding family in Providence Colony

. Alice Hearnden 1652-1727 daughter of Benjamin and Elizabeth White Hearnden


Marriage: 4 April 1700 to the son of John Angell 1646-1720 and Ruth Field 1649-1727, Thomas Angell 1672-1744 of Providence Rhode Island British Colonial America.

Thomas Angell's grandfather, whom he was named for, was Thomas Angell-a minor, who with another minor, Francis Wikes, lived with Roger Williams, John Smith, the miller and William Harris for the winter after leaving the Bay Colony and in attempts to found Providence Colony.


Susan Brown was a history maker with her husband Thomas Angell and their graves should be honored. Their children were: Martha 1703-1762, Isaiah 1704, Jeremiah 1707, Jonathan 1709, Nehemiah 1712, Thomas (his junior) 1716, Sarah 1717, and Nehemiah 1719. Susan Brown and Thomas Angell had 51 Grandchildren.


The memorial marker for Chad Browne lists Susan's father and brothers. This family founded the Brown University .
