Jason King was a wonderful person to know. His music was his life.He was an awesome brother and an incredible friend with a heart of gold.My life is better for knowing Jason, a life cut too far short.
I know he's in Heaven playing the heck of his guitar!Born 1970 to James Hiram King and Paulette Gail King (Agan), Jason was a spirited child who loved baseball, drawing, and music. As he got into his teens, he had strong intrest in music and had God given music abilities. He played the guitar, bass, drums, keyboard, and could sing. At the time of his death at 20 years of age, Jason was a local atlanta musician, writing his own music, as well as playing with many local bands. His dear friend Ross Childress went on to make it famous as a guitarist, and Im sure Jason would have been right there with him. Jason was a loving son, brother, and friend. He had a kind heart, giving soul, and friend to many! He is survived by his parents, Jimmy and Gail King, his sisters Julie Elizabeth King, now 34 and Jennifer Marie Messer(King)31, and brother Christopher Jake King 22. He has joined his sister in heaven Melissa Gail King b.1967 d.1967, also his grandmothers Eunice Dickey (Ninnie) and Lois Stringer, and grandfathers Homer Agan and Nathtan James King also cousins to date(as of 2009) Jon Shephard(34 at death), Byrant Reese(42 at death), Donnie Autry(12 at death), and many others with him there praising our Father God. May we all be reunited one day in the presence of God. Jason was killed by a drunk driver with 5 previous DUI's in Fulton Co. Georgia. Please do not drink and drive! You can also so a photo of him on the Georgia MADD memorial wall online. There is also a myspace to his memory @ www.myspace.com/jamesjasonking. May his spirit, smile, and good heart live on forever.
