Joyce Lajune Calton, 83, of OKC, OK, joined her Heavenly Father on May 8, 2007. She was born Feb. 18, 1924 in Byars, OK to Earl and Prudy (Pinkston) Blevins. Before retiring, Joyce worked as Senior Tax Auditor for the State of OK. She was a faithful member of Wilmont Place Baptist Church. Her hobbies included art, gardening, sewing and writing poetry. She was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joyce was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert L. Calton, 2 brothers and 3 sisters. She leaves cherished memories with her sons, Robert D. Calton and wife Kathleen of Choctaw, and Tommy Calton of Newalla; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Services to celebrate her life will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 11, 2007 at Wilmont Place Baptist Church.
