Bob was born in Portsmouth, OH to the late Ralph L. and Helen L. Baker. He graduated from Portsmouth High School and earned an engineering degree from the Ohio State University. Bob also served his country as an airman in the USAF. He was a traffic engineer for the State of Ohio Department of Transportation with over 35 years of service. In addition to Lorretta, his wife of 22 years, Bob is survived by his children Jay W. (Rachel) Baker and Deanna S. Baker; 7 grandchildren; brothers Donald D. (Janet) and Ralph Baker; and sister Patricia A. Franzen.
