Jack R. Fowler, 64, formerly of Kansas City died Sunday in a nursing home in Altamont, Kansas, where he lived. He was born in Kansas City and lived near Camdenton, Missouri from 1962 until he moved to Parsons, Kansas in 1969. He moved to Oswego, Kansas two years ago and to Altamont in August. Mr. Fowler was a building contractor in the Lake of the Ozarks area and worked with Power Flame Inc, Parsons. He also owned and operated the Fowler Hot Box Battery Company in Parsons from 1972-1977. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Parsons. He was a pilot instructor in the Army Air Force in World War II. His wife, Mrs. Lois M. Fowler, died in 1983. He leaves a son, Richard "Rocky" Fowler, Cincinnati, his mother, Mrs. Lorena Fowler Ford and a brother, Richard Fowler, both of Oswego, and a grandson. Burial in Blair Cemetery, Camdenton
