Jamie Mary Ross Ashcraft Clowers, 93, of Grapevine, died January 25, 1996, at Grant County Nursing Home at Sheridan.
Born August 14, 1902, at Grapevine, she was a daughter of the late John James Ross and Mishey Hall Ross. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Hermie Ashcraft, and a grandson, Ruben Hedden.
Survivors include her husband, O. W. Clowers; two sons, Athel Ashcraft of Grapevine and James Othel Ashcraft of Pine Bluff; three daughters, Ernestine Hedden of Grapevine, Mary Bradshaw of Sheridan and Esther Tice of Pine Bluff; a brother, Neil Ross of Sheridan; two sisters, Flossie Lowman and Fannie Easley, both of Grapevine; 14 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 PM today at Hedden Chapel Assembly of God Church with Don Ashcraft and Basil Edwards officiating. Burial will be in Hedden Chapel Cemetery by Buie Funeral Home of Sheridan.
