CARLTON CARSON BAKER, 61, of Olive Hill, died in Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

He grew up and lived his childhood days in the Lando Mining Camp Community of Delbarton, West Virginia.

Carson was a son of the late William Lee and Mary M. Suttles Baker. He was a member of the Olive Hill First Baptist Church where he sang with the choir and assisted with the church youth. He was an active member of the Carter County Shrine Club, a past coach of the Olive Hill Little League and Senior League Baseball. He was a member of the Olive Hill Masonic Lodge 629, the Scottish Rites and El Hasa Temple.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, William David Baker, Gordon Bradley Baker and Arthur Eugene Baker.

Carson is survived by his wife, Sharon Loy Miller Cundiff Barker of Olive Hill; two sons, David Aaron Cundiff and wife Diana of Olive Hill and Jonathon Wayne Cundiff and wife Kim of Olive Hill; one brother, Charles Baker of Grayson; three sisters, Diane Elliott of Grayson, Rhonda Roark of Somerset and Pam Hensley of Madison, Ohio; four grandchildren, Bradley Joseph Cundiff, Dalton Wayne Cundiff, Travis Aaron Cundiff and Kyle Daniel Cundiff.
