Graveside services for Alvin Roy Marley, 86, of McAdoo will be at 3:00 PM, Thursday, April 19, 2007 in the Crosbyton Cemetery with Clifford Trull officiating. Arrangements are under direction of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton. A. R. passed away Sunday, April 15, 2007 in North Runnels Hospital in Winters.

He was born July 18, 1920 in Crosby County to the late J. B and Lillie Mae (Spence) Marley. On March 16, 1946. A. R. married Doris Mae Willis in Seminole, Texas. She preceded him in death on January 26, 1990.

A. R. was a lifelong resident of the McAdoo area, a member of Pansy Baptist Church and a farmer. He served in the US Coast Guard during WWII.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands; Brenda and Fred Ivy of Laredo, Debra and Bill Ulm of Raleigh, NC, and four grandchildren.
