He married 1st March 28, 1878, in Dekalb County, Indiana, Rosetta Bricker daughter of Henry Bricker and Mary Overholser.
He married 2nd before the 1900 census to Elsie Marie (surname unknown).
Benjamin is listed in Cass County, Nebraska, in the 1880 census teaching school, and in Wright County, Missouri, in the 1900 thru 1920 census as a general farmer.
