William Talman Jones III, born in Muskogee, OK on November 30th, 1943 to William and Patricia Jones, left his earthbound body and his soul is now in heaven with his family and friends who preceded him. He passed away on Tuesday, June 7th 2016, the day of his 47th wedding anniversary to the love of his life, Suzanne.

Bill was a gentle and loving son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Never did he have an unkind word or action towards anyone. He was and always will be remembered as the resolute protector of his family, friends, and country.

Bill studied Engineering Sciences at Case Western University and had a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering. He served as an Officer in the Air Force for 20 years from 1965 to 1985, spent many years in Europe, traveled extensively around the world, enjoyed playing bridge, and volunteered at the Colorado Springs Airport information desk. Bill also provided computer support to Pillars Institute for Lifelong Learning and, above all else, loved spending time with his family.

His faith was unshakeable and he provided comfort and care to many people as a Eucharistic minister for several years. Please celebrate his life and remember all the joy and love he gave us at Holy Apostles Church on Wednesday, June 15th at 1100.

He is survived by his wife, Suzanne Jones; his daughters, Valerie Hines and Patricia Jones; his grandchildren, William, Rachele, Katherine, and Thomas Hines; and his sisters, Sallie Hardin, Linda Ramler, and Terresa Pace. His parents and grandson Ryan Jones precede him.

In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or Pillars Institute for Lifelong Learning in memory of Bill.
