Services for Mrs. Ruby Jones Hightower, 88, will be held 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Kilpatrick Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Leach officiating.

Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetary [sic Cemetery] under [direction] of Kilpatrick's of Ruston.

Mrs. Hightower died 4:30 a.m. Wednesday in Town Oaks Nursing Home in Ruston following a short illness.

Mrs. Hightower was a native of Winn Parish and a member of the First Baptist Church of Dodson. She formerly lived in Ruston.

Survivors include one son, Kenneth Hightower of Dodson; one daughter, Mrs. Bruce H. Rochelle of Jonesboro; one brother, Lonnie L. Jones of Shreveport; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
