Conred Fred Stier Jr. was born in Birmingham, Alabama on May 20, 1912 to Conrad Fred Stier Sr. (1877 Georgia) and Mae Virginia Waldren (1889 Birmingham, Alabama). He served in the US Army in WWII from 1941 to 1945 and was stationed at Atkinson Field, British Guiana, South America. He met and married Emma Marguerite Cumberbatch there and they were married on June 27, 1942. They had five daughter, Margaret Rose, Elizabeth Mae, Patricia Ann, Gloria Jean and Catherine Alma. After the war, Fred and Emma come to the United States and lived in Alabama. In about 1947 they moved to the St. Petersburg area in Florida and lived on Park Boulevard near Pinellas Park for about 40 years. They then moved to the Seminole area where Fred died of a stroke at the age of 89.
