Megan E. Angel, 22, of the Margaret Moul Home in York, and formerly of Hanover, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2007, at Memorial Hospital in York. Born April 11, 1985, in Hanover, she was the daughter of Richard L. and Patricia L. (Arter) Angel Jr. of Hanover. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church in McSherrystown, and was a 2003 graduate of Lincoln Intermediate Unit #12. Surviving also are her paternal grandparents, Richard L. and Mary C. (Asper) Angel Sr. of Hanover; maternal grandmother, Betty L. (Kuhn) Arter of McSherrystown; and paternal great-grandmother, Mary C. Asper of Columbia. Megan was recently preceded in death by her pap, Clarence Joseph Arter. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at Annunciation Catholic Church, 26 N. 3rd St., McSherrystown, with the Rev. Lawrence W. Sherdel officiating. Burial will be in Annunciation Cemetery, McSherrystown. Relatives and friends will be received Friday 6 to 8 p.m. at Murphy Funeral Home, 501 Ridge Ave., McSherrystown, with a prayer service held at 8 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be Ronald Benner, Torey Benner, James Roth, Franklin Duck, Joseph Myers, and Robert Houck.
