Christy was born in Petoskey, Michigan, the daughter of Mark Gill and Dayle Cook. She grew up in Boyne City and graduated from Boyne City High School. She loved animals and worked the past eight years for Pet Smart in Grand Rapids. She enjoyed life and lived to it's fullest. She was also a loving individual who went out of her way to help others. She had recently moved to Mishawaka, Indiana, and was living with Waylan Souza when she became the victim of a murder-suicide. She will be greatly missed. She is survived by her father, Mark Gill, of Boyne City; mother, Dayle (Frank) Cook, of Mesa, Ariz.; aunt, Glenda (Jeff) Crane, of Boyne City; uncle, John Anderson, of Canada; and grandfather, Glenn Anderson. She is preceded in death by her aunt, Nancy Rebecca; grandmother, Ellen Anderson and grandparents, Bill and Alice Gill.
