Graveside services for Bettie Allen will be at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 25, 2007, at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Ardmore. Services will be officiated by Father Ernest Madden.

Mrs. Allen passed away on April 22, 2007, in Ardmore. She was born to Homer Daniel Quigley and Patsy Ruth Blackburn Quigley on Aug. 19, 1930.

Mrs. Allen lived in Yale, Cushing and Ardmore, moving to Ardmore in August 1981. She attended schools in Yale, Cushing, Kenner, La., and Pilot, Texas.

Mrs. Allen worked as a bookkeeper for 45 years, was a member of Epsilon Sorority, and a member of Women of the Moose in Ardmore. She loved gardening, sewing, crafts and what she loved most was dancing with her partner of 50 years, Elvis.

Bettie was preceded in death by her husband, Elvis M. Allen.

She is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Sole and husband, David, Garland, Texas, and Charlotte Ellis, Wichita Falls, Texas; two grandchildren, Melissa Wall and companion, Victoria Harris, Dallas, and Nicole Leau' and husband, Paul, Fullerton, Calif.; a great-grandchild, Jalen Leau', Fullerton.

The family will have formal visitation from 6 to 8 tonight at Griffin-Hillcrest Funeral Home.
