Andrea Natalia Venzor, 16, returned home to her Heavenly Father Saturday, April 14, 2007. She was born Nov. 20, 1990, in Crownpoint, to Tina Chee and was the only child.

Andrea and her mother lived in New Mexico until Andrea was 5, and then moved to Durango, Colo. They lived in Durango for 10 years before moving back to New Mexico. She attended Durango High School and was currently a sophomore at Bloomfield High.

Andrea had a great love for life and brought joy and love to all those that she met. She had friends and family all over who meant the world to her. Andrea was known as "Drea" to all she loved. Her smile was contagious and always lit up a room.

Drea enjoyed music, basketball, drawing, the mountains, and Powwow events. She embraced her Native culture through jingle dress dancing, and also took classes to learn her Diné traditions and language.

She is survived by her mother, Tina Chee; stepfather, Hank Murray; and numerous relatives. She was preceded by her grandparents, Lee Charley Chee and Bessie D. Chee, and Flora and William Raymond; aunt, Alice Etsitty; brother, Alvin Chee; and great-grandparents, the medicine man, Felix and Mary Denth Tso.
There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 20, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 804 W. Blanco Blvd. in Bloomfield. Casket will be closed following the viewing. Services will start at 10:30 a.m., immediately following the viewing.

Burial in Counselor will precede the services.

Pallbearers will be her step-father, Hank Murray, uncles, Curtis and Thompson Chee, brothers, Rinalldo Chee, Lee Steve, and Jester Holiday.

Honorary pallbearers are her brothers, Dennis Chee, Marcus Chee, Sean Chee, Ray, "Joe" Chee, Patrick Chee, and Daryl Young.

Dinner will be served at Pueblo Pintado Chapter House.

Arrangements are with Cope Memorial Kirtland Chapel, 458 County Road 6100, (505) 598-9636.
