Kristi Lou Laster
WYOMING, Mich. - Kristi Lou Laster born June 17, 1950, joined her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on May 25, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her: parents, Ralph Laster Sr. and Peggy Laster; and niece, Tanya Laster.
She is survived by: her brother, Ralph Laster Jr. and sister-in-law Jerri Laster; niece, Tarissa and husband Steve Helmes; great-nieces, Hannah, Hailey, and Rada Helms; nephew, Damian Laster; great-niece, Sydney; great-nephews, Liam and Vaughn Laster; and her adopted sister and forever best friend, Jeannette Walters.
Kristi loved the Lord and lived to share her love and knowledge of Him with anyone who would listen. She has touched so many lives. She was a member of Wyoming Park Bible Fellowship and a Sunday School teacher for the Women of Faith Class for nine years until her failing health prevented her from continuing.
She was proud of her accomplishment of becoming a nurse and loved to serve the people she came into contact with. Kristi was always willing to help wherever and whenever she was needed. She was a great friend and counselor, and saved many lives through her knowledge of and love for people. Kristi was an avid affirmer, always lifting others up, encouraging them, showing them their value and how special they were. She was bold and not afraid to speak the truth, but always did it out of love.
Kristi served her Lord Jesus Christ with her whole heart. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Sunday, May 27, 2018, at Wyoming Park Bible Fellowship Church, 2260 Porter St. Wyoming, MI 49519. Kristi will be laid to rest 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2018, at Partridge Cemetery in Partridge, Kansas.
