Obit Michael Steven Pohle, Jr., 23 , of Raritan Township, N.J., died on Monday, April 16, 2007 on the campus of Virginia Tech University, Blacksburg, Va. Born in Newark, N.J., October 15, 1983, son of Michael S. Pohle, Sr. and Teresa Sheets Pohle, he had resided in Raritan Township all his life. A 2002 Graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, N.J., Michael was set to graduate from Virginia Tech University with a B.S. in Biology on May 11, 2007. A Communicant of St. Magdalen Church, Flemington, N.J., he was a former member of both the Hunterdon Central Regional High School Varsity Football and LaCrosse teams. A volunteer lacrosse Coach in Raritan Township, he was also a member of the Virginia Tech University LaCrosse Club. He was predeceased by his paternal grandmother, Jeanne L. Pohle in 1996 and his maternal grandfather, Tandy Wells in 1983. Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Nicole Jeanne Pohle of Raritan Township, N.J.; a brother, Sean Cortland Pohle of Raritan Township, N.J.; paternal grandfather, Cortland G. Pohle of Raritan Township, N.J.; maternal grandmother, Cleta Wells in California; his Godmother, Liz Orlando of Branchburg, N.J.; his Godfather, Greg Gecik of Nazareth, Pa.; several aunts and uncles, Gerry and Linda Pohle, Freddie and Donna Milstead, Shane Wells, Timmy Wells and Gordon Hicks; his loving girlfriend, Marcy Crevonis; and many friends.Murder Victim.
