She married Herman (Jack) Fritzler on Dec. 11, 1938.MANKATO, Kansas—Milly Alice Clinkingbeard Sandell died May 7, 1991 at the Jewell County Hospital in Mankato.
The former Guymon resident was born June 16, 1920 on a farm near Guymon.
She married Herman Fritzler Dec. 11, 1938. He preceded her in death in 1966. She married Olen Whitfield in 1967. He preceded her in death in 1975. She married Harlan Sandell at Lovewell Lake May 30, 1977.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert "Bobby" Joseph and one brother, George Clinkingbeard.
She was a member of the Mankato Christian Church, Center Rebekah Lodge No. 129, V.F.W. Auxiliary, TOPS Club and Golden Years Club.
Survivors include her husband Harlan of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Billy (Shirley) Wise of Sterling, Kan. and Mrs. Mike (Betty/Corky) Tieszen of Baltic, S.D.; three step-sons, Melvin Whitfield of Wichita, Kan., Elbert Sandell of Bangkok, Thailand and Rodney Sandell of Greeley, Colo.; two step-daughters, Mrs. Jack McClarnon of Oklahoma and Mrs. Larry (Ilene) Brock of Beloit, Kan.; five grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, 10 step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Ralph Burkhart of Ontario, Oregon; two sisters, Lucille Thrall of Morton County Nursing Home in Elkhart, Kan. and Verda Rommel of Brewster, Wash.; and nieces and nephews.
Funeral services wee held Thursday, May 9 at 10:30 a.m. from the Christian Church in Mankato with Pastor Thaddeus Hinkle officiating.
Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, May 10 at the Barden Cemetery north of Guymon. Graveside services were performed by the Center Rebekah Lodge. Interment was in Barden Cemetery.
The family suggests memorials to Jewell County Hospital, Mankato, Kan., American Diabetes Association, Arthritis Foundation and American Heart Association.
Arrangements were under the direction of Kramer Funeral Home of Mankato and Henson Funeral Home of Guymon.
