Professional Wrestler. Born as Abba Kelmer, in Zychlin, Poland. His debut in the squared circle was 1928. The 5'3", 220 lb strong man soon became known as "The Hebrew Hercules", the "Jewish Tarzan" and sometimes as the "Kangaroo Kid". He was most noted for developing the dropkick, a wrestling manuever which is commonly used in the profession today and the famous body slam of 465 lb Man Mountain Dean in which both wrestlers broke through the mat into the auditorium floor. He retired from wrestling in 1958 after 30 years.
