Lived in Ashland, Pa. Was cross-eyed. Tended to not hang with other siblings too much. He was a laborer for many years. In 1920 he was a Borough Policeman. At the time of his death he was a clerk. John got married late in life and had no children. Committed suicide at 7:45 a.m. by "revolver wound to head" due to melancholy following surgery for a rectal abcess. Oddly, there was a bulls-eye-like mark on his headstone when I found it to take a headstone photo.
