Former Hobby Road resident Christine Dunlap, 84, died today, Aug 16, 1999, at Henry County Healthcare Center.

Services will be at 2 PM Tuesday at McEvoy Funeral Home. Kenneth Story and Kenny Carr, former New Hope Baptist Church ministers, will officiate. Burial will be in Bevil Cemetery.

Chosen as pallbearers are Al Shankle, John Hunt, Darryl Dunlap, Bill Barnes, Horace Whitehead and Henry Hobby.

Visitation will be from 4-8 PM today.

Born Jan 18, 1915, in Henry County, she was a daughter of Chester C. and Ruby Lee McClure Bevill, both deceased. She was married July 19, 1931, to Lloyd Thomas "Bill" Dunlap, who died April 18, 1995.

A member of New Hope Baptist Church, she was a homemaker and former nurse's aide and cook at Henry County Nursing Home.

She leaves a son, Larry Thomas Dunlap of Paris; four sisters, Mary Jane Shankle and Margaret Bevill, both of Paris, Norma Griggs of Murfreesboro and Verlene Bomar of South Gate, Mich.;

One brother; Robert Fletcher Bevill of Steamboat Springs, Colo,; two grandchildren, Melissa Moody and husband Rick and Larry Jason Dunlap; and three great-grandchildren, McKenzie, Gavin and Madison Karlee Moody.

She also was preceded in death by two daughters, Ruby Lee Dunlap at birth in 1954 and Aurelia Fay Dunlap in 1937; two sons, Harold Lloyd Dunlap and Billy Bevill Dunlap, both at birth;

One sister, Eva Bevill; and two brothers, Herbert and Rupert Bevill.
