Ethel T. Epps, 89, of Athens, died Thursday, November 2, 2006.
A native of Jackson County, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Lenora Smallwood Wood.
She was retired from the Counselor/Education Department at the University of Georgia and was a member of the Oconee Heights Baptist Church since 1951, where she taught Sunday School for a number of years.
Survivors include her husband, two daughters three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren.
Burial was at Evergeeen Memorial Park.
