Dolores May (Gifford) Hill 75 of Montour, passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side on Tuesday, April 10, 2007. She was born on May 26, 1931 in Cabarton, Idaho to Edward Warren and Edna May Gifford. Dolores grew up in Montour, Idaho and resided there at the time of her death. In 1948 she married William Jones with whom she had five children: Chris, Ronnie, Karen, Debra and Barbara. Dolores had a natural affinity for people, and she treasured the many friends she made while serving as the Post Master in Montour and Letha, Idaho for over 28 years. Dolores is survived by her children, Chris, Debra and Barbara; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by parents, two brothers, Bill and Keith and two of her children, Ronnie and Karen. Graveside services will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 13, 2007 at the Emmett Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Potter Funeral Chapel in Emmett.
