Kenneth "Kip" Brendel of Carbonado died April 3, 2007 at the age of 56. He was born March 28, 1951 to Paul and Ruth Brendel in Enumclaw, WA. He retired as a boilermaker after 38 years of service. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union #502 and the Wilkeson Eagles. Kip enjoyed making wine and going fishing. Kip is survived by his wife Joanna of Carbonado, sons Casey of Carbonado & Kevin of Wilkeson, parents Paul & Ruth of Carbonado and brother Mike & his wife Barbara of Tanawax Lake. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association, 710 2nd Ave. #900 Seattle, WA 98109. A visitation will be held Tues., April 10th, 4:00 to 8:00 p.m.; funeral service, Wed., April 11th at 1:00 p.m. both at Weeks' Funeral Home, Buckley. Burial will be at Carbonado City Cemetery.
