Zola Mae Best, 83 of Niagara Falls, N.Y. died in the Clearfield Hospital Sunday. She had been visiting relatives in the Clearfield area when she became ill.
The widow of Irvin Best, she was born at Curwensville September 14, 1883, a daughter of the late Simon and Susanna (Closer) Painter.
The following children survive: Ansel Best, Clearfield; William, Medina, N.Y.; Mrs. Sara Robacker, Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Mrs. Anna Catherine Daniel, Balitimore, Md.; and Mrs. Olive Knight, Mantua, Ohio. A sister, Mrs. Maude LaRock of Newington, Conn. survives as do 23 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday in the Nicholson Funeral Home whith the Rev. Vernon Miller officiation.
Interment will be in the McNaul Cemetery at Curwensville.
