NORFOLK – Elena Price Baxley, 87, of the 5900 block of McGinnis Circle, went to be with the Lord on July 26, 2004 in Virginia Beach. A native of Bladensboro, NC, she was the daughter of the late Russell W. and Rhoda Sutton Price and the widow of Harold Baxley. She attended Agape Ministries Church of Chesapeake. Mrs. Baxley worked for the Starband Corporation for many years and as a cashier at her brother's Price Enterprises' Drive-In Theaters. She is survived by two sisters, Golda Taylor of Chesapeake and Genita Head of Portsmouth; one brother, Ernest Price of Virginia Beach; several nieces and nephews and a host of friends, all of which will greatly miss her. A graveside service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, with Rev. Ralph Haddock officiating. Graham Funeral Home, Greenbrier Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
