SCRANTON- Services will be 3 p.m. Friday at the Burlingame Federated Church for Clarence L. Adolph, 82, Scranton, who died Tuesday, March 20, at his home.
He was born May 14, 1901, at Eskridge, the son of George and Amanda Wilcox Adolph, and moved to Scranton in 1917. He worked for the city of Scranton from 1925 to 1926, and worked many years for Santa Fe until he retired in 1966.
He married Minnie Parsons, March 17, 1924, at Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include a son Leroy Adolph, Marysville; a daughter, Delpha Tucker, Topeka; a sister Lottie McKnight, Eskridge; and several grandchildren and great-greatgrandchildren.
He will lie in state from noon today until service time at the Carey Funeral Home, Burlingame. Burial will be in the Burlingame Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Osage County unit of the American Cancer Society.
