John Canfield's tombstone in the Canfield plot, is the only one in this cemetery, with the "angel of death" on it, as seen in CT cemeteries. This photo was taken in 1982 when the cemetery went by the name Hayward Rivenburg for the farm property it was located on. It seems that now (2008) the cemetery is overgrown and in disrepair.
