Services Held For Harold Nightingale, Formerly of Quincy
Funeral services for Harold F. Nightingale, 55, of New Haven, Conn., a former resident of Quincy, were held yesterday at the Lady of Grace Chapel in Guildford, Conn. Burial was in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Mr. Nightingale died at his work Saturday after a short illness.
Born in South Quincy, son of the late Mrs. and Mrs. Fred E. Nightingale, he was educated at John Hancock School and Quincy High School, and became manager of the Mohican Market in Quincy. At the time of his death he was manager of the Mohican Market in New Haven, Conn.
Mr. Nightingale leaves his wife, Mrs. Ruth (Brett) Nightingale, formerly of Charlestown; three daughters, Mrs. Joseph Samet of New York, Mrs. James Higgins of Fitchburg and Sister Mary of the Rosary, of Guildford, Conn.; one sister, Mrs. Malcolm A. MacDougall of Wollaston; four brothers, Fred H. of Wollaston, Percy H. of Quincy, and James E. and Everett W., both of Braintree, and seven grandchildren.
