Marjorie L. Andrews, age 95 of Pemberton, died on Friday, February 4, 2011 at Immanuel St. Joseph's Hospital in Mankato.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 10th at 11:00 a.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville, with Rev. Daniel Andrews and Chaplain Garrett Parten officiating. Interment will be in the Medo Central Cemetery, Blue Earth County.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 10th from 9 to11 a.m. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville.

Marjorie LuJune was born on April 26, 1915 to Ira and Myrtle (Blaisdell) Southwick in Medo Township, Blue Earth County. She graduated from Pemberton High School in 1933. On March 5, 1938 she was united in marriage to Lynn M. Andrews in Forest City, Iowa. Marjorie and Lynn raised their family and resided in Pemberton their entire married life. She worked part-time for various businesses in Pemberton including the Pemberton Café and Kings Grocery. Marjorie served as Pemberton City Clerk for 31 years and was a dedicated teachers aid until age 85 for the Janesville-Waldorf-Pemberton School District. She was very proud of the Pemberton Community and its history. Over the years Marjorie was active in the Pemberton Congregational Church and later the Medo Baptist Church. She enjoyed time spent with her family and friends.

She is survived by her sons, Milton (Sandra) Andrews of Columbia Heights and Gordon Andrews of Bremerton WA; by her daughters, Marjorie Elaine (Maynard) Breck of Waseca, Barbara Andrews of Tahlequah, OK, Janice Andrews of Pemberton, and Carol (Carlos) Arias of Delavan; by 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren; by her sister-in-law Pearl Southwick of Pemberton; by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband Lynn; by her parents; by three brothers and three sisters.

Casket Bearers are Marjorie's Grandsons: Steven Breck, Brian Breck, David Andrews, Samuel Andrews, Solomon Andrews, Jon Arias and Jesse Ellerbroek.
