Titanic Victim. The Unknown Child's grave was paid for by the crew of the MacKay-Bennett. They were so moved by the death of this child that they were the ones picked out of many donators who wanted to pay for the burial. They also carried the casket. Most recently (July 30, 2007) new DNA tests prove that this boy was Sidney Leslie Goodwin. He was a 19-month-old boy from Fulham, England. Goodwin died on the sinking of the Titanic, along with his parents and five siblings.
