Anna was the daughter of Marion R. and Nancy Marie (Carter) Rinehart. She was born in Columbia, Iowa. She was raised in Newton and was a 1944 graduate of Newton High School. On February 2, 1946, she was married to Gerald Arment in Unionville, Missouri. Shortly after their marriage the couple moved to Red Rock, Iowa where they helped her parents in their small country store, Red Rock Trading Post. In 1957, they moved to Grinnell, Iowa where she raised her family and was a homemaker. Anna held a great love for her family and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, solving cross-word puzzles, and flowers, particularly roses and snapdragons. She also enjoyed traveling, wintering in Texas, and camping at Red Rock Lake. Survivors include her husband, Gerald of Grinnell; three children, Denny (Pam) of Marshalltown, Linda Hunter (Gary) of Copley, Ohio, and Virgil (Lori) of Rawlins, Wyoming; eight grandchildren, Chad (Sunni) Arment, Jodi (David) Gabor, Ryan Arment, Megan (Joel) Conrad, Matt (Melody) Hunter, and Alexandra, Jacob, and Toby Arment; and twelve great-grandchildren, Andrew, Alex, Chase, Cierra, Skyler, and Kaylyn Arment, Charlie and Lizzie Gabor, Carly and Anna Conrad, and Olivia and Ethan Hunter. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Clinton Rinehart.
