Alfonso "Frito" E. Vigil of Cerro, NM, passed away unexpectedly March 20, 2007, at his home in Cerro, NM. He was born on July 16, 1941, to Alfonso and Gertrude Vigil. He was married to Charlotte "Annie" Willingham. He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter Tracy Vigil. "Frito" is survived by his wife "Annie", three sons, Johnny Vigil, Brian Vigil, Martin Vigil all of Cerro, One daughter, Dawn (Scott) Goodson, Honolulu HI, four brothers, Ben Vigil, of Cerro, Jose (Elva) Vigil of Cerro, Ruben (Eleanor) Vigil of San Manuel, AZ, Frank Vigil of Cerro, four sisters; Gloria (Lupe) Vigil of Cerro, Ercilia (Bill) Vigil of Akeu of Colorado Springs, CO, Barbara ( Mario) Olivarez of Claypool, AZ, Gerti (Gary) Castaneda of Tucson, AZ. three grandchildren, Marissa Goodson, Miquela Goodson, Miguel Hurtado, numerous nephews. and nieces Rosary Vigils were held at 7:00 p.m Thursday, March 22, 2007, at Weylen's Funeral Home Chapel in Questa, NM and at 7:00 PM Friday 23, 2007, at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro Visitation was held from 1:00 to 6:00 PM on Friday, March 23, 2007, at Weylen's Funeral Home Chapel in Questa NM. Procession followed to Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro, NM The Funeral Mass was held Saturday, March 23, 2007, at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Cerro, NM with burial to follow at the Cerro Cemetery.
