Funeral services for Mrs. Minnie Belle Barthel, 73, of Rt. 1, Palestine, were held at 2 p.m. today in Hassell & Foster Chapel, with Rev. Rupert Miller and Rev. Vernon Hedge officiating. Burial was in Garden of Memories Cemetery, Elkhart.
Pallbearers were Buster Haltom, Raymond Thomas, Herman Conaway, Lloyd Hinson, Sam Mitchell and C. D. Broadway.
Survivors include husband, G. H. Barthel of Palestine; one son: F. F. Barthel of Pearland; two granddaughters, Sandra Jean Barthel of St. Louis, Mo., and Cheryl Anne Barthel of Pearland.
