Charles Franklin Powell, son of William Henry and Willa Mina Hawkins Powell. Charles was named in honor of his uncle, Charles Franklin Powell. Husband of Ivory Dorothy Anderson, married May 15th, 1910 in Evansville, Indiana. Grandpa Charley was the father of six children, Ellsworth Edward, Lillie May, Jewell Jennett, Mabel Dorothy, Elizabeth, and Donald Anderson Powell. Charles worked for many years as a custodian for the Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, Illinois. He was a good man, wonderful father, and a christian. His wife preceded him in death, Charles loved his wife very much.
