KIRBYVILLE—Homer William Phillips, 78, of Kirbyville died Saturday.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at First Baptist Church with burial in Kirbyville Cemetery under the direction of Causey's E. E. Stringer Funeral Home.
A native of Kountze and a longtime Kirbyville resident, he was a retired carpenter.
Survivors include his wife, Faye Phillips of Kirbyville; four sons, S. J. Phillips of Vidor, Max Phillips of Warren, The Revs. Roy Phillips of Kirbyville and Lawrence "Skipper" Phillips of Loeb; three brothers, Lawrence Phillips and Leonard Phillips, both of Livingston, and George Phillips of Texas City; two sisters, Docia Jarrell of Kirbyville and Mary Ashworth of Silsbee; 12 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
