Vernetta Mae Clark, 79, Raymore, MO, formerly of Adrian, MO, died Friday, March 16, 2007 at Raymore Health Care, Raymore, MO. Funeral services were held Monday, March 19 at the Atkinson Chapel, Adrian, officiated by Pastor Robert LaMar, New Life Assembly of God, Archie, MO. Casket bearers were Jerry Bailey, Frank Enos, Gary Snider, Clifford Snider and Larry Gillespie. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery, Butler, MO. Contributions may be made to American Heart Association.
Vernetta was born March 27, 1927 in Taberville, MO, the daughter of Walter Grant and Frances Mae (Anderson) Snider. Vernetta attended grade school in Taberville. She attended junior high at Appleton school and graduated from Appleton High School. Vernetta was a homemaker. She was a member of New Life Assembly of God. Her church was a very important part of her life.

Vernetta was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ralph Delmar Clark, one son, Larry Clark, one sister, Virginia Preston and one brother, Lloyd. She is survived by one daughter, Karen Sue Boucher, Joplin, MO; brothers and sisters, Thelma Richter, Kansas City, MO, Claudine Champ and husband, Albert, Lee's Summit, MO, Marjorie Kincheloe, Kansas City, MO, Clyde Snider, Clinton, MO, Donald Snider and wife, Rosella, Clinton, MO, Shirlene Terry and husband, G. L., Branson, MO, Bonnie Bailey and husband, Jerry, Lee's Summit, MO, Gwendolyn Perry and husband, Robert, Grandview, MO, Clifford Snider and wife, Kay, Windsor, MO, Charlotte Gillespie and husband, Larry, Kansas City, MO, Gail Vaugh and husband, Herchel, Clinton, MO, Keith Snider, Nevada, MO and Gary Snider and wife, Sandy, Clinton, MO; three grandchildren, Meschelle Hendrix, Greg Sanders and Angela Burkhart and seven great-grandchildren.
